Margaret “Marge” Ann Engel

Margaret “Marge” Ann Engel, 75, of Chapel, passed away May 3, 2018 at Braxton County Memorial Hospital, Gassaway.

She was born December 6, 1942 in Johnstown, PA a daughter of the late Paul and Mary Jane Adams Ferguson.

Marge was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and crocheting. She dearly loved her grandchildren and playing computer games with her grandson, Matthew. She loved her dog, “Penny Ann”.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Guy Engel, Jr.; daughter, Mary Walker of Frametown; son, Guy Engel III and wife, Donenicia of Chesterfield, VA; grandchildren, Elizabeth Leigh-Ellen Walker and companion, Jeremy Leonard of Caldwell, OH and Matthew Stephen Walker of Frametown; great grandsons, Blake William Leonard and Ein Ryan-J Leonard; brothers, Jon Ferguson of Ohio, Pat Ferguson and Donald Ferguson, both of Warren, OH, James Ferguson of Ohio and George Ferguson; sister, Melinda Witt of Massachusetts.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Elizabeth Ferguson.

Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018 with Pastor Bill Carr officiating. Interment will be in the Engel Family Cemetery, Chapel.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 7 at the funeral home.
