Marshall Clayton Napier, 54, of Gassaway, passed away December 9, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. He was born August 28, 1963 in Denver, CO. He was a schoolteacher at Braxton County High School. He received his Master’s Degree from Marshall University. He dearly loved his students and his dogs. He is survived by his mother, Imogene Kay Napier Clutter of Gassaway; stepfather, Billie Clutter of Gassaway; siblings, Montgomery “Monty” Napier of Mansfield, OH, Margaret Cook of Gassaway and Ashley Napier of Exchange; ten stepbrothers and stepsisters. He was preceded in death by his father, Billie Napier; stepmother, Teresa Napier and one stepsister. Service will be 1 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Hope Baptist Church, Frametown with Rev.
