Hallie Bell Friend Harrison

Hallie Bell Friend Harrison, 90, of Gassaway, passed away May 5, 2017 at home.

She was born September 1, 1926 in Braxton County a daughter of the late Bailey and Mabel Huffman Friend.

Hallie was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, canning and taking care of her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlon Harrison; sister, Louise Schoolcraft; brothers, Hartsell and Holly Friend.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Hacker and husband, Warren “Tink” of Gassaway; grandson, Richard Hacker of Gassaway; nephews, Randy Cogar and wife, Becky of Gassaway and Andy Cogar and wife, Jennifer of Bridgeport.

Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with the Rev. Johnny Conrad officiating. Interment will be in the Beall’s Mill Cemetery, Gassaway.

Visitation will be two hours prior to service at the funeral home.
