Maysel Mae Dobbins

Maysel Mae Dobbins, 99, of Chapel, passed away December 24, 2015.

She was born October 5, 1916 in Braxton County a daughter of the late Emerson Byrl and Irene Mae Shaver Westfall.

Maysel was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was a member of the Old German Community Church, Chapel.

She was preceded in death by husband, Samuel Ralph Dobbins in 1997. She was the last of ten children.

Maysel is survived by son, Neal Dobbins and wife, Linda of Gassaway; daughter, Joyce Wayne and husband, Jim of Chapel; seven grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2015 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Pastor Rick Hart and the Rev. Linn Schiefer officiating. Burial will be in the Bender Run Cemetery, Chapel.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
