Robert Whalen Donaldson, 73, of Crooked Fork, Gassaway, passed away January 30, 2017 at the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born December 9, 1943 in Maryland a son of the late Ivory Conley and Wilma Adapearl Hettenhauser Donaldson. He was a brick mason and a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War where he was a helicopter mechanic. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Yvonne “Bubbie” Cannon; brothers, William Donaldson, Richard Donaldson and one other; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
