Alice Mabel Morris

Alice Mabel Morris, 82, of Sutton, passed away January 31, 2017 at Braxton Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, Sutton.

She was born March 20, 1934 in Braxton County a daughter of the late Alva Jurl and Bonnie P. Hamrick Jarvis.

She was a homemaker and a Protestant. She enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls, coloring, playing bingo and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Charlie Harold Morris; brothers, Hershall, Percy, Denzil, Dewey and Harold Jarvis; sister, Regina Ballangee.

She is survived by son, Delbert Lee Morris; daughters, Susie Mabel Cook and Johnnie Marie McCumbers; sisters, Nellie Bokinski, Esther Stofer and Mary McCulloch; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

In Keeping with Alice’s wishes, her body was cremated.

There will be no services.
