Gary Joe Boggs

Gary Joe Boggs II, 30, of Sutton, passed away November 27, 2016.

He was born August 21, 1986 in Charleston, WV.

Gary Joe was a musician who played the drums. He loved to fish, shoot guns and most of all spending time with his children. He lived for today and never knew a stranger.

He is survived by parents, Billy and Jane Boggs of Sutton and Audrey Payne Modesitt of Parkersburg; children, Skylar Marie Boggs and Gary Joe Boggs III; brothers, Jason Wells of Sissonville and Samuel Boggs of Sutton; sister, Heather Wells of Parkersburg; maternal grandparents, Richard and Ruby Payne of Sissonville and Shirley Squires of Sutton; paternal grandparents, Mary Boggs of Nashville, TN, Paula Davis of Florence, AL and Roni Boggs of East Bank; several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Gary Joe Boggs; maternal grandfathers, Gerald “Pete” Kniceley and William “PawPaw” Squires.

Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway. Interment will be in the Sutton Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
