Brenda Sue Duffield

Brenda Sue Duffield, 75, of Frametown passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026, in Bridgeport, WV after an extended hospital stay.

She was born on June 8, 1951, in Gassaway to the late Charles Oden Stout and Bernice Life Stout.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene “Pops” Duffield; and brothers, Delmas and Argene Stout.

Brenda was a homemaker who cherished time with family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she was immensely proud of them. She especially enjoyed tending to her flower garden, keeping her lawn well maintained, and spending time outdoors. In her earlier years, she participated in Christian Women in Action and belonged to the Homemakers Women’s Group in Frametown. A devoted Christian, she was an active member of Hope Baptist Church. Her servant’s heart showed in her willingness to help others when needed. She also enjoyed weekly card games with her countless friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, David Duffield and wife, Pam, of Frametown; daughter, Gina Kammerer and husband, Bill of Strange Creek; grandchildren, Tyler Steele, Nathaniel Duffield, Alex Steele; sister, Linda Dobbins; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Helen Hacker; brother-in-law, Carl Ray Duffield, and countless close friends.

Brenda’s visitation will be 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Monday, October 5, 2026, at Hope Baptist Church, Frametown.

Her funeral will be 1 P.M. at the church on Monday with Reverend Rich Demastus officiating.

Burial to follow in the Stout Cemetery, Frametown beside her husband.
