Ivy Ruth Frame Burns

Ivy Ruth Frame Burns, 91, of Rosedale passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Perkins, in Gilmer County, on May 26, 1935, to the late Dorsey Bennett and Thelma Conrad Bennett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Frame; an infant son; her first husband, Albert Floyd Frame; her second husband, Carrell Leon Burns; and several siblings.

Ivy was a homemaker who enjoyed being around her family. She loved going to church and listening to gospel singing. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, David Frame and wife, Janice, of Elyria, Ohio, Dennis Frame and wife, Kimberly, of Rosedale, Albert Frame and wife, Doramae, of Rosedale; grandchildren, Justin Frame and Judith Boyce of Bug Ridge, Tiffany Frame and Devin Brogan of Charleston, Tyler Miller and wife, Karen, of Branchland, WV, Ashlyn Frame, of Rosedale and Jonathan Frame of Sutton, Amber Santelli and husband, Tom, of Pennsylvania, and Ed Frame and companion, Jared Lockhart of Buffalo, New York ; great grandchildren, Elias and Ezekias, Bradley and Thomas “Taz”, and Liam and Gauge and Clairabella; sister, Betty Montgomery of Romney, WV; and several nieces and nephews.

Her visitation will be from 11 A.M. to 12 Noon on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Roach Funeral Home, 708 Braxton Street, Gassaway.

Ivy’s funeral will be 12 Noon on Saturday at the funeral home with Elder Larry Fisher officiating.

Burial will follow in the Crooked Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Perkins.
