Julia Ann Scott

Julia Ann Scott, 77, of Ivydale, formerly of Gassaway passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Clay Healthcare Center, Ivydale.

She was born on October 30, 1948, in Kingsport, Tennessee to the late George Brewster and Bessie Moore Brewster.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wayne Scott; brothers, James Brewster, Richard Brewster; and sister, Estel Brewster; infant sister; and special niece, Patsy Beasley.

In her younger years, Julia enjoyed word search puzzles, romance novels, and watching soap operas. She was the last of her siblings to pass away.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Harold Wayne Scott, Jr. of Lincoln, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.

She will be cremated and memorial service will be held at a later date.
