Bernice Rader

Bernice Rader, 91, of Gassaway, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Braxton Health Care Center, Sutton, West Virginia.

She was born on November 13, 1934, in WV to the late Granville C. Roberts and Mary Nellie Goff Roberts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick “Fred” Ott Rader; and her son, Fredrick “Skip” Ott Rader, Jr.; and several siblings.

In her lifetime, Bernice was a secretary for Kenton Meadows Company and retired from the Braxton County Senior Center. She enjoyed cooking for her family and gardening.

She is survived by her grandsons, Ryan Rader and Skyler Rader and wife, Brittany; great grandchildren, Leah Rader and Brayden Rader; and several nieces and nephews.

She will be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
