He passed with his wife by his side. Teroy is survived by his wife, Jessica Friend; his children, Harper Cooper, Jason Michael “Kole” Friend, and Meelah Friend; his mother, Rita (Mike) Evans; his sisters, Victoria (Jason) Tichinel, Tabitha Friend, Jenna Friend; his brother, Gage Friend; his step-sisters Alayna Beckman, Leah Beckman, and Christy (Brandon) McClung; 4 nephews and 1 niece; his grandparents, Fred and Sharon Tasker, Butch and Doris Ashby, Robert (Bob) Harper Sr., Alice (James) Groves; his aunts Lacey (Walter) Baker, Tammy Ashby, Tiffany (Sam) Bowman, Cynthia Uphole, Alicia Uphole; his uncle Robert (Nina) Harper; his step-mother Joy Friend and former step-mother April Walsh. Mother-in-law, Mitzie Foster and brother-in-law, Josh Adkins. He was preceded in death by his father, Jason Friend; his uncle Aaron DeWitt; his grandparents Russell and Mary Friend. Teroy was born in Oakland, Maryland, on July 6, 1994. He graduated from Southern Garrett High School and obtained his Class B Commercial Driving License at Garrett College in McHenry, MD. On June 12, 2020, he married Jessica and became Harper’s step-dad. On March 31, 2022, they welcomed their son Kole. On January 15, 2024, they welcomed their daughter Meelah. Being a husband and father was the highlight of his life. Teroy was a very talented person, who had many skills. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars, shooting his bow, woodworking, and playing music. He was a talented artist and had an eye for graphic design. He loved the outdoors and building with his hands. He always had a positive attitude, a great joke and an infectious laugh. He was a problem-solver, who loved a challenge. His health issues never stopped him from providing for his family and serving others. Most of all, he loved Jesus. He lived his life with his eternity on his mind. He was involved with many church activities, like his men’s bible study, special events and YAC-K. He was loved by many and will be missed. His funeral service will be held at 6 P.M.
