Heather, Ryan and Tate, I'm so sorry to hear of your mom's, mother in law's and grandmother's death. She was a sweet lady. I remember where she sat in the old Gassaway Baptist Church and when she worked at Heck's Dept store. We lived in the trailer court behind Heck's. Curtis was just a little boy, we shopped in there quite a bit. I think I told you, one trip, I was holding a box of cereal under one arm and asked your mom a question at the check out, then walked out of the store. I got to the end of the sidewalk and said to Curtis, I forgot to pay for the cereal. When I walked back in, your mom had a shocked look on her face and I apologized and paid for it. We laughed about that years later. I didn't know your mom, but after that we got acquainted! We talked often when we'd run into each other at Foodland after your dad died, she was having a hard time. I told her there was Grief Share at church and if she wanted me to, I'd go with her. We talked a few times when she was visiting you too. I'll miss her, but thankful that she is with Jesus. Heather I’m so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing . She is with her good Lord and savior now .I know she has been sick for a while ,but now she is free of pain and suffering..praying for peace. And comfort for you and your family. Love y’all
