Evelene’s funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Elder Roger Stewart officiating. Interment will be in the Crooked Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Perkins.

Visitation will be from noon till time of service at the funeral home.

Our deepest sympathies for all the family at this time of loss. Rest assured aunt Sister has finished the good race and will surely be given a trophy for well running. I pray that God will comfort your family in this time of overwhelming sadness, but we must rejoice in knowing our God is in control and all things are according to his will on Earth as in Heaven. Sister Evelene will be missed here but welcomed by our Lord in Heaven for her faith and devotion.
