Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Harley D. “Budgie” Adkins, 81, of Harrison, passed away June 26, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. He was born February 1, 1935 at Harrison a son of the late Oscar and Vannie Elswick Adkins. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. He was a coal miner and loved going to church at the Groves Creek Church, where he was a member. He enjoyed tinkering and watching westerns. He is survived by wife, Bertha Marie Butcher Adkins; sons, Richard James Adkins and David Wayne Adkins; daughters, Deloris Hamrick, Mary Jane Adkins and Joyce Ann Lewis; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
