He was born August 21, 1954 in Braxton County. Jerry was a social worker for the state of Ohio and also worked at a hydraulics factory. He enjoyed listening to music and playing his guitars. He also loved to write music and stories. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Dale Cayton, Sr. and brother, Albert Dale Cayton, Jr. Jerry is survived by son, Jeraiah Cayton; mother, Nellie Singleton Cayton; brothers, Adam (Christy), Aaron (Cyndee), Dale Lee (Wendy), Tracy (Laura), Dana (Becky) and Keith; sisters, Carol (Dale), Vicky, Sheila (Ken); several nieces and nephews. Service will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2016 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway. Visitation will be two hours prior to service.
