Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2015 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with the Rev. Johnny Conrad officiating. Burial with military rites will be in the Carr Cemetery, Belfont.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Robert “Rob” Rollyson, 83, of Frametown, WV went to be with the Lord on February 5, 2016.

Rob touched the hearts of many and will leave a void in the community of Frametown that will not be filled.

Rob was born June 9, 1932 at home in Dessie, WV a son of the late Troy and Gay Rollyson.

Rob was a Christian and a member of the Frametown United Methodist Church. Rob was a dedicated husband, father and brother. Rob served in the Army during the Korean War and assisted in the rebuilding of the war damaged country. Korea is where he learned to operate a crane, which profession he carried back home. Rob was a working man. His day jobs consisted of being a mechanic, heavy equipment operator, welder, Eukid truck driver and he helped build the Sutton Dam, but his real love was when he was out on his farms working the land and the cattle.

Rob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Sue Moyers Rollyson, whom he loving referred to as “Susie”; four daughters, Debra Kohler, Terri Crislip, Diane Larch and her husband, Hans Larch and Mary Ellen Smith and her husband, Bunker Smith; two sisters, Hazel Sharp and Irene Beeler; his loving grandchildren, Tyler Crislip (Whitney), Bradley Kohler (Christina), Ashli Smith (Tim), Ryan Crislip (Britney) and Zack Nassif (Hollie). Rob had ten great grandchildren, Bailey Garret Kohler and her brother, Jacob Hively, William Cash Smith and his brother, Robert Jude Smith, Kingston Digman, Bailee Alexus Nassif and her sister, Paityn Weaver and brother, Bentley Nassif and Luke Smith and Ethan Smith; several nieces and nephews.

Rob was preceded in death by his three brothers, Willard Rollyson, Jimmie “Spider” Rollyson and Don Rollyson.
