Dannie Ray Dobbins, 63, of Burnsville, passed away at home on September 2, 2018.

He was born at Upper Sleith on September 26, 1954 to the late Omer Richard and Elaine Tracey Dobbins. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Dobbins and Olen Dobbins; sister, Betty Jean Dobbins; and son, Dale Hudson.

Dannie loved to hunt and fish. In his spare time he also worked on cars and he knew how to fix all the problems with vehicles. He was an Army veteran and his active service years were from 1976 till 1983. He worked as a mechanic at Evans Auto for 14 years. He was the most loving man.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, his butterfly, Jennifer Hudson Dobbins of Burnsville; sons, Worthy Dobbins of Erbacon, Casey (Khala) Hudson of Burnsville, Walker Dobbins of Burnsville; daughters, Jennifer (Billy) Lanham of Sutton, Destiny Dobbins of Burnsville, brother, Denzil (Linda) Dobbins of Normantown; sister, Candie Ice of Orma; six grandsons and one granddaughter.

Service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home with Pastor Robey Godfrey officiating.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Cremation will follow services.
