Duane E. Cart, 69, of Strange Creek, passed away August 9, 2017 at home.

He was born April 27, 1948 at St. Albans, WV a son of the late Ralph W. and Marble Tyler Cart.

Duane was a retired head custodian for Braxton County High School and a water-sewage operator. He was an Army veteran serving from 1967 to 1970.

Duane is survived by his sister, Sandra Cobb of Glen Burnie, MD; brother, Larry Cart of Ragley, LA.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Wayne Cart.

In keeping with Duane’s wishes, he was cremated and there will be no services.
