She was born August 25, 1942 in Gassaway a daughter of the late Bland and Marie “Nip” Quirckle McLaughlin. She was a secretary for Dr. Fisher and Hope Gas Co. in Gassaway. She loved to crochet and read. Her grandsons were the apples of her eye. She was preceded in death by husband, Thomas Arlie Ratliff and daughter, Linka Marie Ratliff. She is survived by daughter, Joetta J. Stewart and husband, Rick; sister, Neva Delaney and husband, Marvin; grandsons, Thomas and Morgan Stewart.
