Donna Ruth Seal Romriell, 85 of Toms River, NJ, formally of Exchange, WV passed on December 6, 2025.

She was born at Exchange, WV to her late parents Kenna B. Seal and Eula Ruth McMillion Seal.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren V. Brown who passed in 1973; husband, Gary Romriell; son, Jeffery Brown; and brothers, Burton Seal and Bernard Seal.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Robin Brown of Toms River, NJ; her son, Michael Brown of Hiram, Ga; sister, Reta Maxine Kuritz of Toms River, NJ and brother, Kenna R. Seal (Paula) of Sutton, WV. Donna has two grandsons, Mike and Jerry Brown of Piedmont, Al; as well as several great grandchildren. Her nieces are Dianna Kuritz Carr of Toms River, NJ and Rebecca Seal Brock (Allen) of Scott Depot, WV, and her nephew Louie Kuritz of St. Petersburg, Fla. She has several great nieces and nephews.

Donna graduated from Gassaway High School with the Class of 1958. She has had many careers and interests in life from secretarial skills in governmental work to being a real estate owner. She has lived in many places including Washington, DC, Camp Lejune, Georgia, Hawaii, Biloxi Mississippi, Oklahoma City and Tahlequah Oklahoma. During retirement, she returned to her home farm at Exchange, WV where she cared for horses, cats and dogs. Donna also enjoyed raising a big garden and sharing vegetables.

Donna was a Methodist by faith and played the piano as she worshipped. She was a member of Pleasant Dale Methodist Church. She was a loving mom to her children and cared exceptionally for Robin. She was a kind and caring person to friends, family and strangers. She had a sweet soul and a beautiful smile. She was very loving with a kind and giving heart. Donna did charity work for autistic children.

Her funeral service will be conducted at 3 P.M. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Roach Funeral Home, 708 Braxton Street, Gassaway, WV with the Rev. Rick Hart officiating.

The viewing and visiting with family will be two hours before the service.

Interment will be at a later time and date at the Riffle Cemetery.
