David “Bub” Stump

David “Bub” Stump, 62, of Normantown, went home to be with the Lord suddenly at home March 23, 2018.

He was born November 26, 1955 a son of the late Fon and Ethel Greenlief Stump.

Bub was an avid animal lover. He cared for cats, dogs and chickens throughout his life. He enjoyed hunting (deer, squirrel and mushrooms), fishing and riding his 4-wheeler through the country.

In addition to his parents Bub was preceded in death by his half-sister, Norma Jenkins.

He is survived by his sisters, Goldie Jarvis (Junior), Jean Allen and Patricia Stump all of Normantown; brothers, Darrell Stump (Martha) of Weston and Donald “Tink” Stump of Normantown; aunt, Arabelle Marks of Gassaway; several nieces and nephews.

Service will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2018 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Pastor Richard Westfall officiating. Interment will be in the Piper Cemetery on Crooked Fork.

Visitation will be two hours prior to service at the funeral home.
