Rosemary Carpenter, 61, of Gassaway, passed away on January 15, 2018.

She was born August 28, 1956 to the late Silas Carpenter and Ruth Short of Gassaway. She was also preceded in death by her grandmother who raised her, Vina Morrison, of Gassaway and brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Patty Carpenter of Constantine, MI.

She loved to read and watch scary movies. She also loved to play Bingo. She truly loved her grandkids and great grandbabies. They were her joy.

Surviving Rosemary are her daughter, Kimberly Morris of Dickson, TN and Gassaway, WV; Sisters, Barbara Thompson (Kevin) of Byesville, OH, Susan Ramsey of Gassaway, Linda Oliver (Joe) of Byesville, OH, Tina Hamrick (Rockey) of Gassaway, and Tracy Brown of Gassaway; Brothers Michael Carpenter (Jennifer) of Gassaway, and Eugene Carpenter (Jenny) of Gassaway; granddaughters, Jessica Thompson (Alicia) of Cumberland Furnace, TN, Nichole Thompson of Marlinton, WV and Cheyenne Thompson of Gassaway; grandson, Dustin Thompson of Gassaway; great grandbabies, Caleb Moore, Elizabeth Thompson and Maddy Thompson.

A special thanks to Junior Ramsey, of Gassaway for all that he has helped Rosemary with. Junior was a part of her family.

A private service will be held at a later date for the family and friends.
