I knew Mike from back in the high school days at Crichton. He stayed with my family to finish his junior year prior to moving ti Indiana. He was a good guy then and I am sure remained that way the remainder of his life. Sorry to hear about his passing and had no idea that we lived so close to each other, as I thought he lived in California.

Mike is a great associate and friend and will be missed. We worked together for many years on numerous consulting projects around the world. Mike was always upbeat, brought a lot of fun and of course expertise to every engagement. We know Mike is off to new adventures and we will meet again. Our love and prayers to Mike's family and friends. Kevin Steele

My condolences to the family. We lost a good man. I have had the opportunity and pleasure of working with Mike since 2002. Mike is a unique individual--funny, knowledgeable, hard-working, and transparent--you knew what he was thinking because he told you in his own special way. He will be remembered fondly.

My deepest sympathies for Michael's passing. It is truly heartbreaking to lose someone we love. I wanted to take a moment and share a truly comforting promise from the bible. Job 14:14, 15 "If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service Until my relief comes. You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands." Yes God longs to bring our dear loved ones back to life. Very soon we will have our loves ones reunited with us. What a truly special day that will be.

Mike will forever be remembered by me and my husband Bob. Mike was an industrial engineering classmate of both of us at Cal Poly and then we later worked side by side at Sun Microsystems. I hired Mike and together we designed and installed two manufacturing facilities for Sun. We had so much fun working together and i couldn’t have done it without him! Mike helped Bob and I build our deck at our first house in Livermore. He was amazing— he could build anything!!! He was funny, so very kind, and so talented!! I loved when he played the banjo. He introduced me to bluegrass music. So many fond memories. I am so sorry we can’t make more together but I can only imagine that Heaven is enjoying his humor and his music!! Our sincerest. condolences to the family. Kathleen and Bob Holmgren

I am sending my sympathy to Mike's family. 2 years ago Mike attended my father's funeral in Charleston, WV. (Herald Baughman). Mike certainly gave cancer a good fight. I pray you feel peace knowing Mike is with His Lord and Savior. I pray comfort as you will miss him. I pray sweet memories forevermore.
